Winters here.

Today I went shopping and picked up this new cardigan for Sydney tomorrow. I've been told that it's quite chilly down there atm and I have no nice new comfy knits so I thought this one would be perfect. It is super soft and I love how the sleeves are only 3/4 which means it will be easier for me to photograph Sydney Fashion Weekend on Sunday which I was invited to photograph. I'm so excited for it that I even added an extra 2 days on top of my flights so I could really have a look around Sydney and meet up with other photographers and of course, go shopping! I am about a 20 minute walk from Westfeild shopping Centre (where Topshop, Zara etc shops are) and I'm super close to the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I cant wait to explore the city on my free 2 days and take heaps of photos. I will also be recording most of it like I did when I went to New York City (click here to view my holiday video) and I'll be creating another little short clip from my 3 days down there.

RIPPED JEANS

I have been looking for the perfect pair of ripped jeans for months now, and when I saw these SPACEBOY AWESOME BAGGIES I bought them straight away. I love all the rips down the front and I love the light wash colour. I've seen heaps of darker washed ripped jeans but I never really liked them enough to buy them.. But these ones are perfection.

Also, I want to chat about these cut out boots. As you may have seen, I already bought a pair similar to these but from choies.. I always wanted the Jeffery Campbell ones but I didn't want to spend that much on them.. so when I saw these ones at Windsor Smith on sale (in store only!) for $98 I literally ran over to them and tried them on. Now, my foot is a perfect size 8 and I usually fit every single pair of shoes I buy online but these ones I had to go up to a size 9 because they are a very tight fit. So if you are thinking about buying a pair, I would suggest going up a size otherwise you may not be able to get your foot in it.

JACQUARD METALLIC BOMBER

As you may have noticed, bomber jackets are very popular this Autumn. When I saw this one I new I had to buy it. I usually shy away from metallic and neons but this jacket was an exception. I am starting to buy more staple pieces for my wardrobe and I'm finding that my style is slightly changing. I don't usually wear many dresses or outgoing pieces like this jacket but my love for fashion has taken over and my style is expanding.

FINDERS KEEPERS

This dress is so lovely and the pattern is absolutely incredible! I've been wanting this dress for awhile now and I finally bought it. I don't usually own white clothing because I get it dirty so quickly so fingers crossed I can keep this one as clean as possible. I think I will be taking this outfit to Sydney with me this weekend.

I finished up with my 3rd test shoot with new and upcoming models this week before I head to Sydney and I will post some previews on my photography blog, so go have a look over there!

New York City Holiday p/3 Niagara Falls

While on my holiday in NYC, we also went to Niagara Falls which was absolutely incredible! It was so cold though so I couldn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked to. While standing next to the falls I tried to take some photos and film it for my NYC holiday video and every time I took my hand out of my pocket, it felt like my hand was being stabbed by a thousand little knives! I have never experienced that level of coldness before! I would always complain about living in Sunny Queensland and never getting to experience snow, and while we were on our way to the falls it actually snowed! I was SO excited! But as soon as I got off the bus to take some photos I instantly regretted it! It was like being slapped in the face! So, so cold! But at least I can tick that off my bucket list    • experience snow, tick!
